We're here to help.
RivalRings turns your everyday activity into friendly competitions with friends and private groups. If something isn't working or you have a question, get in touch and we'll help you out.
Email team@rivalringsapp.com and we'll reply within 2 business days. Please include your device model and iOS version so we can help faster.
RivalRings asks for read access to Apple Health when you first sign in. You can revisit it anytime under Account → Apple Health → Choose Data to Share. To change a choice you've already made, open the Health app → Sharing → Apps → RivalRings (iOS only lets you change existing Health permissions from the Health app).
Make sure you granted RivalRings access to the relevant data types in Apple Health, and open the app so it can sync. Your activity comes from Apple Health, so a brand-new device with little Health data will show little here until data accumulates.
Go to the Friends tab and add someone by username, by their friend code, or by scanning their QR code. Once they accept, you'll see each other's activity (unless either of you turns off stat-sharing in settings).
Create a competition from the Compete tab, choose the metrics to compete on (steps, distance, workouts, Apple Watch rings, and more), and invite friends or a group. Each day is scored, points add up over the week or month, and medals and a champion are awarded when a period ends.
Open that person's profile and tap the ••• menu in the top-right, then choose Report or Block. You can review and undo blocks under Account → Blocked Accounts. Reports are reviewed by our team.
Go to Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, stats, workouts, friendships, and competition history. It can't be undone.
